Our Educators Make a Difference!

Dear Anna and Alyssa,

I just wanted to share with you my A1C results. When diagnosed on July 17 of this year, I was at 11.6. Three three months from that date (October 16, 2012), I was at 5.6.

I can’t thank you enough for the personalized approach you took insofar as an analysis of my numbers and relaying of diabetes education is concerned. Rather than a recitation of the materials, or not trusting in my assertion that (for me) more information was better, you took the time and effort to understand where I was coming from and what I needed at that point in time. Your guidance and support has been an essential component in allowing me to feel confident enough to manage this on my own on a day-to-day basis, while also knowing that I can reach out to either of you for additional assistance. Thank you for the difference you have made in my life, at one of the most difficult points in my life.

Warm regards,
S. Jensen
