St. Luke’s Humphreys Diabetes Center is hosting the 22nd Annual Diabetes Workshop for Health Care Professionals on Friday, September 21, 2012, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center in the Anderson Center. The workshop will examine how motivational interviewing and other strategies can be used to help motivate patients and family members to choose healthier behaviors resulting in better diabetes management. The workshop will also address the complex psycho-social issues associated with diabetes and eating habits and within families.
