It’s time for Sweet Kids Day Camp! This lively day camp is for children ages 3-7 with type 1 diabetes. The camp provides an opportunity for children to make friends with others who are just like them. The activities are designed to teach the children about diabetes and help them develop the skills they need to maintain good health.
2011 Dates - July 19, 20, & 21. Cost is $30 for the 3-day camp for the child with diabetes. Siblings, ages 3-7, can also attend for $20 per day. Download the camp registration form
We are also looking for a few good volunteers to help at camp! If you are interested, please download the camp volunteer application

Humphreys Diabetes Center is once again taking part in the Sara Lee TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program. As a program participant, we are selling tickets to the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft, the top event on the PGA TOUR’s Nationwide Tour, scheduled for September 12-18, 2011. We are able to keep 100% of all the money we generate. This is an incredible opportunity for both us and our supporters.
By purchasing tickets, you’ll be helping to further our mission here in the Treasure Valley. In return, you’ll receive weekly tickets to the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Kraft played this September at Hillcrest Country Club. And again, we keep the 100% of your purchase. In fact, we’ll receive that money the month after you place your order, so the sooner you buy, the sooner we benefit!
Please help us add to that total this year by purchasing your tickets today. Simply log on to www.albertsonsboiseopen.com, click on the tickets tab and select our organization from the drop-down menu of options. Or download the ticket order form. And be sure to order plenty for your family, friends, customers and associates! The tickets are an incredible value, and every dollar you spend will come directly to us.
Thank you for your support – we look forward to seeing you at Hillcrest Country Club this September!
Thanks to the support of these generous businesses, organizations and individuals, we can offer Sweet Kids Day Camp for children ages 3-7 with type 1 diabetes, provide diabetes trainings in schools and daycares, and promote active lifestyles and healthy eating to help children prevent obesity and type 2 diabetes.
