Vicki Graf RD, MS, CDE
Vicki returned to HDC in July 2007 after living in Moscow, Idaho for two years. With over 20 years experience as a dietitian, and 5 years as a Certified Diabetes Educator, Vicki brings a wealth of knowledge about food selections and diabetes management to her patients.
Kaci Haven MA, CRC
Kaci was hired in September of 2009 to work in the front office as an administrative specialist and was soon promoted into the Research Department as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Kaci has type 1 diabetes and wears an insulin pump, so she has a great deal of knowledge about the importance of good diabetes self-management. “Being in research is very important to me,” she explains. “I understand how important it is to have your diabetes under control and this opportunity is perfect for me to watch how different medications and therapies help people better control the disease.”
Betsy Koehler CRC, TrialNet Research Coordinator
Since 2004, Betsy has been the Center’s coordinator for the international diabetes research study, TrialNet. With her dedication, HDC is the number one recruiting site in the world for this study.
Kathleen Marshall Executive Assistant
Kathleen has been part of HDC since 2005. As the Executive Assistant, she provides valuable support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. She loves what she does at the Diabetes Center, and enjoys being part of an organization that helps people change their lives in positive ways.
Valerie Mentzer RN
Valerie joined HDC in 2009 upon her retirement from St. Luke’s Health System. With over 30 years of nursing experience, Valerie pursues a holistic approach to foot care. Valerie leads the HDC foot care team to ensure that clients are screened for infectious disease, orthopedic issues, complications related to their diabetes, and that they maintain overall good foot care.
Kathi Moore Administrative Assistant
Hired in January 2007, Kathi handles hundreds of calls each week, responding to both patient and health care professional inquiries about HDC services. She is responsible for scheduling and coordinating patient visits to the Center’s Meridian office.
Anna Nipper RN, CDE
Anna joined the Center in March 2008, bringing with her over 30 years of nursing experience. With a gift for teaching and a strong desire to care for her patients, Anna is a compassionate and well-liked diabetes educator, both in the classroom setting and in one-on-one consultations.
Deborah Orcutt RN, BSN, CDE
Deborah moved to Boise to join HDC in 2010. She is a 2007 graduate of Idaho State University’s BSN program and worked in diabetes education in southeast Idaho for 3 years before joining Humphreys. Deborah provides education to hospitalized patients in Boise and Meridian.
Rosalyn Palacios Executive Administrative Assistant
Rosalyn joined HDC in 2000. She is an integral part of the education team, creating and maintaining all of HDC’s educational power-point presentations and class workbooks.
Lynda Sinigiani RN, CDE
Lynda joined HDC in April 2010. She was previously employed at Riverside Medical Clinic in the comprehensive diabetes center in Riverside, CA. She earned her CDE in 1999 and is a certified and experienced pump trainer. Lynda provides diabetes education in both the in-patient and out-patient setting, and greatly enjoys providing education for her patients.
